LSS and Zynx Deliver New Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) Templates

LSS Data Systems and evidence-based health care partner Zynx Health have partnered to provide standard content for the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) in their recent update of clinical content for LSS's Medical and Practice Management (MPM) Suite. 
Zynx clinical content is updated on a quarterly basis to incorporate the latest evidence from peer-reviewed studies, clinical best practices and national performance measures. This evidence is integrated directly into MPM in the form of documentation templates, health maintenance & disease management tools and clinical evidence summaries, which are accessible to providers at the point of care.
With this release, customers participating in the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) Physician Quality Reporting Initiative will now be provided a standard PQRI documentation tool. The documentation checklist for PQRI will allow providers to document and report on all of the current measures related to ambulatory care. The system also facilitates the submission of appropriate codes on CMS insurance claims.
In response to provider feedback, the Quarter 1 2009 updates will also include a new "multi-symptom" template that covers 22 common reasons for visits within the family practice setting, providing streamlined documentation for multiple complaints. In addition, the History of Present Illness and Family History sections of previously delivered templates have been updated.
